Students must bring a device with Bluebook already installed to take their AP Exams. This applies to all exams EXCEPT AP Chinese Language and Culture. AP Chinese Language and Culture is a special exam that has very specific technical requirements. Maple Hill School has no devices to lend to students for AP Exam testing outside of that one exception. If you show up to your exam without a Bluebook enabled device, you will not be able to write your AP Exams. Please see https://bluebook.collegeboard.org/students/ap-exams for information and to learn about the steps you need to complete before test day. Note that Maple Hill School will do our best to provide charging for students but can not guarantee charging will be available for everyone and for the entirety of an exam. Students should come with their devices fully charged.
Students are able to bring calculators to the exams. They must however follow AP Exam day guidelines which can be found here https://apstudents.collegeboard.org/exam-policies-guidelines/calculator-policies . Students need to check which exam they are writing and review what calculators are permitted. Special attention needs to be made to Macroeconomics and Microeconomics as those exams only allow a 4 function calculator and no scientific calculator or graphing calculator is allowed. The exams have their own built in calculator that has graphing capabilities that students can use.
